Why are piezoelectric jets suitable for high-precision micro mass coating applications?
A jet valve is driven by two sets of piezoelectric materials and achieves up and down motions by a linkage. A durable ceramic ball seals the nozzle at the linkage bottom. When the linkage is raised, liquid flows toward the nozzle. When the nozzle is released, liquid ejects. As the specially designed piezoelectric material can continuously dispense adhesive at 1,200Hz, resolution is up to 1μs. Together with different types of modular nozzle design, quick replacement is enabled to facilitate cleaning and maintenance. It also supports valve adjustment based on liquid characteristics to accurately control the quantity, area, and line width of dispensing during ejection in order to meet the process needs.
